Balance beads have a nasty habit of sticking to any residue left over on the inside of the tire's liner from mounting, manufacture or even what the rubber itself has exuded as it flexes. The bead will also adhere to most tire repairs, and in all these instances will cause imbalance until the tire's dismounted and cleaned out. The automotive industry learned these lessons in the '90s-'00s. Fair warning!

Terra Pump, great design, built like crap. If the Germans made a quality one in this design, I'd buy two.oh, just realized I said the same thing ten months ago. DoH!

HI F9, would the size of the tyre affect the effectiveness of the Counteract Balance Beads especially if they were 350 x 10 for a Lambretta or Vespa especially as it is not uncommon for them to be doing over 100mph? Also some are still using split rims and the tyres are never balanced on them and so maybe there is a benefit there? Great vid again ;)

Yeah, I've had one too many customers complain about out of balance tires with beads in them (always resolved by balancing) to believe that they work well enough for street bikes.

I have the fuel pump ... And I use for my mowers and weed wacker. It may not be needed but it does lessen the number of times I've over filled my weed wacker and makes it easier to fill the riding mower them lifting 5 or 6 gallons of fuel

I have a stick style fuel pump from walsmart, without the auto stop feature, but with today's unvented gas cans, I swear by it. Sure, you don't NEED it, but you also don't need bacon. You really want to go without bacon if you don't have too?
Jocalopse Prieš 2 mėnesius
those brushes are actually really good. Screw the tire beads, I put tire slime in the inner tube of my dual sport, palaces and seals punctures, the tread cutter and pump look dumb though

I love my Tirox 360 chain brush, because I'd rather be riding than doing maintenance. You're going to want to hold a shop rag over it to control the wild splatter, but this gets my chain cleaner in significantly less time than any other method I've used. I hate chain maintenance, so I consider this a must have. I never new it can be squashed inside the head of the chain cleaner, lol.

1:10 re: balancing beads. you've missed the best version of balance beads, and that is the tire sealant and balance bead combo. i sing their praises from every rooftop i can find. they're so damn useful and they work perfectly. the only two i know of are Sahara Moto, and Ride-On. i've used Ride-On a ton of times, so i can only really opine on them. but they are incredible. my bike only really goes up to about 145 indicated, but they do not lose balance like he talks about at 3:22. they balance perfectly, and you NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT PICKING UP A NAIL. i can not emphasize enough how great this product is. if you change your own tires, which i believe every motorcyclist should, then this product is a must have. it ain't cheap, but it's so worth it. SO worth it. peace of mind for flats, plus super easy balancing. there is no downside. last time i got my tires changed was at a Yamaha place in Burleson, TX, and it cost over $200. i said FK THAT, and started changing them myself. the ride-on is only about 34 bucks for two bottles (7oz for the front, 9oz for the rear; your tire sizes may need more or less than that). and there's no reason to pump them in through the valve stem. in fact, i would advise against it, unless you're tubed and have to. just install them at your next tire change, or break the seal if you want peace of mind now. it's not difficult with the right tools. and you should buy the tools now, BEFORE you need them, if you want to start changing your own tires. otherwise, you'll be up the creek without a bike when the time comes. also, these products are NOT SLIME. they're water soluble, so if you want a clean tire carcass for whatever reason, you can simply rinse them out with the water hose.

I have the gas mover and love it! I'm a senior and use it to fill my boat, and motorcycle if needed! With the prices of gasoline jumping all over, I'll fill allmy vehicles and four large jerry cans when it's cheaper saving some$$$. This will offset the cost of the pump very fast! I actually got it cheap at an automotive store selling them out. Battery operated, lasts a long time and is convenient. And yes you don't spill a drop our struggle to hold up 25 liters of gas when starting to fill a tank!

Does anyone here know the Kettenmax? Maybe its just a European thing but that is, in my opinion, the easiest and cleanest way to clean (and also lube) your chain, as all of the liquids can be collected and all of the "spray" from a can gets used (keeps the garage and the environment clean). Also with multiple brushes.
