You are an amazing knowledge serving dude. Why don't do something that no one else include to their review videos ( not sure why ) but it is very important for bike behave. I'm talking about the weight of the tyres. Maybe next time you would like to make a tyre review video and include the weight of the tyres. That would be awesome! Or even make a whole video about the weight of the tyres - sport, sport-turist & road tyres!

The all weather tire of choice as I see it was the Anakee 3. Good wet performance & enough grip to keep the rubber side down. Is there a better option out there for us NW riders like you? Would that in fact be the Commander 3?

Bought a Firestone 195 - 55- 16 car tire 55,000 mile rating which means can count on 30 to 35,000 miles for under $100 for the rear of my GW ! I went to a bike shop to get a price on Dunlap E3’S for $695 that was the final straw almost $700 for 8-12,000 miles is ridiculous I’ll be changing the front tire to a conventional motorcycle tire for now but the car tire in the rear is all I would expected to be very smooth and durable and will do the job for my conservative riding style also fine on wet roads .

I have an 87 vfr700f2 sport touring bike and I'm having a tough time finding a good matching set of tires due to oem size front/rear differences. 110/90 v16 and 130/80 v18. I'm looking for solid touring tires with decent mileage but able to handle cornering/traction as fairly well as a true sport tire. Any suggestions?

I last bought tires for my sport bike about 5 years ago. They were "multi-compound" which was explained to me as being harder in the middle with a softer side and a really soft outer edge. I don't have any "chicken strips" but they still wear out hard in the middle. I really want to get my bike on the road again. What tire would you recommend?

i am riding a commander II right now, lasts forever.. but grips like a wet soap!! its good for saving money but you need to be aware that it won't grip, especially in rain! You can not never ever forget that your tires don't grip! never cross the limit!

Hypersport tire: $200 vs $330... Lowside vs riding home... Don't go cheap if you're hitting twisties and/or ride aggressive imo. The savings aren't that big.

I want to see how many miles you have put on motorcycles, your advice will get people killed! Putting a rear tire on and not a matching pair will get someone killed. I know, i watched a guy die because of that! I have 250k miles on 7 bikes. You forgot the heat cycling of the rubber. Dunlops are a pile of crap, I know 3 of my bikes came with them and i split the front tires to the cords within 800 miles.

Yeah the nineties. I got 3-5K and the fronts cupped as fast as the rears shagged. I had a 900ss and then a 916 at the time. I had a no rides that suck policy. Any ride that would eventually wear a flat spot on your tires sucked. I'd ride an extra 70 miles either to or from work just to unsuck the ride.

Dual sport riders have been running different manufacturer/model tires front and rear forever. I've done it on sport bikes too. I used to believe what manufacturers stated about tire pairs and does apply some to street tires. Not so much on the dirt. Please review Tusk D-Sport tires.

I have Roadsport II's on my GSXS750 and they're great I don't ride like Jalapeno Saucey but I do occasionally scrape the side of my shoe on a highway off-ramp and ride in rain on the occasional commute. Would recommend to anyone who treats their middleweight naked bike as a daily rider

Do you think you can test, for us to watch, mix settings? I would love to watch Bridgestone S22 Hypersport in the front (possibly the best dry+wet tyre in the market for braking and turning, according to some magazine tests) and Michelin Road 5, Dunlop Roadsport 2/SmartRoad 3 or Continental Road Attack 3 in the back. They all seem to be excellent combinations for touring/sport bikes for moderate/safe driving but it would be great to have these combinations reviewed. No one has ever done this before! You could be that someone, because someone else will be for sure! The amount of LTpost videos could be great in numbers and content itself! Think about it and keep up with the good work!
