2002 xr400r here. Yes not the fastest bike BUT it is the best bike EVER!! It was my daily commuter and my weekend fun for about 12 years. Most people dont believe it but this bike has over 100,000 miles on it! I rebuilt the top end at about 60,000. A few upgrades here and there. The forks just started to leak a little and i have ohlins in the rear which is still good. And i have had to put in some new wheel bearings. The sub frame is a little twisted. Have had to weld the kickstand back on. Im due for THE FIRST EVER CLUTCH REPLACEMENT! It is just starting to slip in 4th and 5th gear when i have the freeway sprockets on it and am heavy on the throttle. Never had a worry about if its going to start or not. A lot of street miles on it for sure but this bike has seen hell and back a few times with me on the back of it. And im a fat ass. 300lbs. I have never been nice to it and it keeps on going. I always keep up with the maintenance on it which is key. I love it. Never going to get rid of it!!

Just say no. How many of you know, unleaded gas does not play nice with any of these bikes. Holy fuel tanks and line’s Batman. Let’s talk about shocks and the cost of tires…good grief CB. No…!

Indestructable sportsbike which still looks good and is eazy at all fronts: CBR600F4i And it is an all terrain bike too. The ST1300 is evenly indesturctable and beautifull. Worth it's money. Lovly big bike. And the k1300S (K1200S) is a fast pig that goes and goes and goes. All 3 are really fine bikes and worth owning 2nd hand imo.

Just bought a Yamaha Road Star 1600 Silverado... Gorgeous one owner bike with the manual and records of all work done since he bought it new in 2003... $3500... 75,000 miles on the odometer, looks like it only has a few thousand miles on it, if that... My buddy found a 2001 Road Star 1600 for $2800... Both are pristine... Get on your bike and RIDE!

Clearly the best second hand bike is an R1. Preferably one with a custom paint job, and suspension adjustment that looks like it's had a leatherman on it.

Still love the KLR 650, its my favourite bike, i wanted one for ages, but could never find one local to me, so i settled for my second favourite bike, the Versys 650, "Oh no not one of those they're shit", sorry to break it to you mysterious person trying to chat shit about a bike they've probably never ridden, but its not that bad, i love my versys 650, i dont need to slow down for turns, i just hammer on the throttle and go full lean using all my tyre.

I have an '86 XR 250. In the last 10 years I have put exactly $0 into that bike other than fluids and tires. It is the definition of tractor bike. I kick the crap out of it, I take almost no care of it and it just keep kicking over every year.

The thing is that with a 4-stroke Honda dirt bike you are exchanging the simpler maintenance work for longer service intervals with more complicated work. A 2-stroke will be easier to maintain as it's a simpler machine.

They are the ones that actually stop the Germans in Berlin George Patton want to go on to defeat the Russians Eisenhower I was a little bit smarter when I had to take Bavaria and find the rocket scientist Wernher von Braun and 60 other Nazi specialist von Braun who is SS soldier really was not involved in fighting per se But he learned from a guy name Robert Goddard Born in 1903 I think I actually might be before that he was the first American to develop the liquid fuel rocket which one little more than a toy he went on to try interest the USA
Chris Will
Chris Will Prieš mėn
This is the part I do not like to talk about the Russians I actually Joseph Stalin probably more more people when Hitler did Ville the worst change in the world until they built the T-34 and KV-1

I can still kick myself. About 10 years ago I could have picked up a 95 GoldWing with low miles (8000) with new rubber for 4000. All the records were good and up to date. Apparently, the gentleman selling had gotten in to a scuffle with a group of harley riders and they had cut the seats with a knife. His wife told him he had a week to get it gone. Yes, it would have needed to have the seat recovered but wife said no, that two motorcycles were enough...Should have just left her and gotten the bike!
